Can I pay with a debit card?

We only accept credit cards: VISA, Master Card, or American. We do not permit debit card.

 

Can I cancel the reservation?

At the moment cancellations are not accepted due to the high volume of customers, if you wish to cancel before 48 hours of the date and time established in this contract in reservations, the sum equivalent to three days of rent will be charged and the tenant accepts that it is charged to your credit card.; after 48 hours you will be given a credit for the monetary value which will be valid for one year from the date of your original contract to be used again for the current value of our services.

 

How much do you have to deposit to reserve the vehicle?

A $500.00 minimum deposit is required on all rental types at the time of rental along with the total amount due for the rental. The deposit is refunded once the vehicle is returned and has been inspected or if no further charges apply*.

*Although Van and Car Rental by Autobuses de Puerto Rico immediately gives a refund the actual refunded amount may take between 7-10 business days to reflect onto your credit card depending on your bank.

 

Can you pick me up at the airport?

We can pick up and drop off at the Airport (Luis Muños Marín -  San Juan). The charge will begin from $50.00 E/W. Other points of services will be quoted upon availability.

 

Can I smoke inside the car? 

Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed in any of our rental vehicles. There are signs posted throughout the facilities and you will be required to sign a document acknowledging that you or anyone else will not smoke inside of our vehicle or there will be a fine starting from $300.

 

What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?

The minimum age is 18 years.

 

How much does it cost to add an additional driver?

You can add drivers for $10.00 per person. This will be a one time charge.

 

How should I deliver the car in terms of fuel?

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of gasoline as per pick up. 

Fuel surcharges will apply. Price depends on the current market. Ask at the counter.

 

I have to pay the toll?

One time fee of $15.00 will be charge and then you recharge as needed. If you do not recharge, will be charge a fee of $15.00 and tolls fee for each.
